HOW TO GO TO Tagulandang Island ?

Tagulandang island is one of 47 islands in Sitaro archipelago.To get Tagulandang island i and my guests must to sailing four hours  from Manado chity by fast boat.

On the way to this island sometimes some peoples can see dolphis fishs or whales.it makes we keep waching from boat windows when we were sailing to Tagulandang island.

When we arrived in Tagulandang island we feel so enjoy it.Tagulandang island is one beautyful island with so kindly peoples.All peoples that we met alwas smille to us.

We explore this isnland for one day.one makes us interesting is visted  the Salak fruit garden.In this garden i and my two guests from Fance did mating salak feuit.it was an extraordinary experience of us.

Not only that,we did snorkeling in one beach close with our Homestay. We stay in Along Homestay.Cause this Homestay is nice and clean.

We feel not enought to stay one night in Tagulandang island. Therefore we have a plan to come back again next time.

One more thing,this island is so clean...

HOW TO GO TO SIAU ISLAND ? The ship's schedule

The ship's scedule depart of Siau Tagulandang Biaro regency, and the surrounding islands.

* Fast Ship KM Mejestic Kawanua.
Operates every day from Manado to, Tagulandang,SIAU,and Sangihe islands,except sunday.

DEPARTING.

- From Manado to SIAU island at 09.00 am,and arrived at -+ 02.00 pm.
- From SIAU Island to Manado, at 11.30 am,
arrived at  -+ 05, 00 pm

* Fery Ships.
It operates three days a week  from Manado To SIAU,and Tagulandang islands.
-Manado to Siau on Sunday,monday,wenesday,friday.and saturday.
-Siau to Manado tuesday,thursday,saturday,fruday,and sunday.

-From Manado at 04.00 pm,and arrived at 02.00 am.
- From Siau island at 04.00 pm, and arrived at 02.00 am.

Mahoro island

Mahoro beach and Karangetang volcano, are two nice places that you can
found in Sitaro regency.

Mahoro Island is one of several very interesting islands in the Siau Tagulandang Biaro Islands Regency. ( SITARO )

.This island has a stretch of white sand and a very beautiful marine park. Because of its beauty, every tourist is lured to want to visit this island, and makes this island popular among tourists.

.to go to this island, tourists can use a rented boat. The time taken is usually 30 minutes from the port of Siau, or more depending on the speed of the boat that is rented.

On this island, tourists can do various activities such as: swimming, diving, snorkeling,

.take pictures and others.

Karangetang volcano on 12/5-2019

Karangetang volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the province of North Sulawesi.

This mountain is located in the district of the Siau islands, Tagulandang Biaro. The height of this mountain reaches 1827 meters above sea level.

.it is said that before Christianity and Islam entered the island of Siau, the local people worshiped this mountain, the people at that time believed that this mountain could give them blessings.

.but after Christianity brought by the Portuguese and the Dutch into this island, slowly that belief began to erode. They began to accept the religion brought by the nation through missionaries.

This makes Christianity grow rapidly in this 47-island country.

.From the story of this mountain community it has several names.In ancient times this mountain was called Aditinggi, which is the name that people believed at that time to be a spirit that inhabits or resides in the volcano. This mountain was baptized under the name Yohanes Tamagagolo. regional language has the meaning "Highest".In terms of tourism, this mountain attracts foreign tourists to climb, or take pictures on the hardened lava rocks.

Tulude Traditional Ceremony

Tulude Traditional Ceremony is a type of tradional ceremony originatin fom  Nusa Lawo/ Nusa Utara,( Siau Tagulandang Biaro islands,Sangihe islands,Talaud islands).This tulude traditional ceremony is a legacyof the ancestors in Nusa Lawo,wich continues to be preserrved by the people of the Today.

The prupose and prupose of the Tulude tradition is to express gratitude to the omnipotent for the blessing that have been given throughout the past year.In this tardition cerremony variousattractions are presented.The action is namely,Traditional of cutting custom cakes called Tamo,a traditional dance called Gunde, Traditional group singing called Masamper,Concert of traditional musical instruments called a bamboo music,and others.

This traditional ceremony is held everry Januari 31. Participants in this traditional ceremony are the  community and Govement.

Gunung Api karangetang

                          Gunung Api Karangetang and the surrounding communities.

Karangetang Volcano is one of the active volcanoes, from several active volcanoes in Indonesia. The volcano is located in North Sulawesi province, Siau Tagulandang Biaro Regency, precisely on the island of Siau. Gunung Karangetang has a height of 1827 meters above sea level. Geographically this volcano is located at 02º47 'north latitude and 125º 29' east longitude.

For immigrants, the eruption of Mount Karangetang is frightening, but for the people of Siau the eruption is common.

It is said that according to stories from various sources, before Christianity entered the island of Siau, the Siau people at that time still adhered to animistic beliefs, by worshiping the Aditinggi God who they believed dwelled on the summit of Mount Karangetang. The cause of the Mountain Eruption by the community at that time was believed to be a manifestation of anger from Dewa Aditingi, for the wrong way of life of citizens (committing sins).

After missionary Christianity from the western countries entered the island of Siau, animist beliefs were slowly abandoned by the people at that time, and accepted Christianity as their belief. Not only baptizing citizens, missionaries also baptized the Mount Karangetang with the name John.

However, even though they have embraced Christianity, some of the people of Siau Island today still often associate the eruption of Mount Karangetang with the way of life of citizens. Like for example if someone commits adultery / sin, then the volcano will erupt.

From the agricultural side, volcanic dust released by the Karangetang volcano brings its own blessings. Volcanic dust that falls on the ground is believed by residents to fertilize their crops. Like nutmeg plant which is a superior crop on the island of Siau.

Siau Tagulandang Biaro Regency ( Sitaro ), is one of the districts that has natural beauty wich no less beauty than other regions.Some of the natural beauty that can be enjoed in this district include : White sand beaches,marine parks,Volcano,Rare animal,etc.And everything is still  natural.

Sitaro regency is located in the provice of north Sulawesi,Indonesia.To get to this district there are several ships operating every day.Depature hours : Fast boat approximately 09.00 am,Manado to Siau island.Another boat around 16.pm.
